The best of these mini-dome cctv camera uses 32 bit Pixim DPS (Digital Pixel System) that has a very wide video dynamic range. That allows the camera to clearly display very dark and bright pixels together, e.g. you can clearly see a dark skin person entering from a brightly lighted doorway. Also, this Pixim DPS has very high resolution that can handle PAL or NTSC. Please select cameras with model nos. that starts from 899I-xxxx. Some other cameras use Sony Super HAD ccd with a newly designed NEXT chip (ASIC) that enhances the SuperHAD with new feature at less cost, including non flickering image under 100% flourescent light condition, IR (Infra-red) filter to reduce glare, IR cut to provide >480 color lines for NTSC down to 1 LUX, then >570 lines B&W from 1 Lux to 0.01Lux, Auto-iris DC drive lens with manual zoom, from 3.5mm to 8mm.
