ILDVR  application software for H.264 hardware encoded

DVR cards (PCI)

Standalone NVR

IP cameras

Introduction

ILDVR uses one set of application software (server and live center) for multiple models of PCI (PCI-Express) card, Standalone NVR, and IP cameras.  The server software can automatically sense the number of ILDVR cards on a computer system, therefore, when you put additional ILDVR cards onto existing DVRs, there is no need to re-install new software. The Live Center software is “client software” to be installed at the remote site. This client s/w allows you to connect to 64 servers at the same time.  It has 16 pages of directory,  64 servers per page, allowing quick access to 1024 servers on one computer.  This Live Center software allows you to remotely control or change parameters of your servers. ILDVR also allows you to access the server via Web browsers. *** In this context, a server can be an IP camera, a standalone NVR, or a PC with ILDVR cards installed onto it.***

ILDVR is very open to software feature suggestion. Within 3 years of development, the software has been enhanced twice annually to its version 8. By now, its software feature is very comprehensive, and in a few cases, leading the industry.  Users of ILDVR cards can enjoy free software upgrade within the same hardware version.

Software feature for servers

System software

·    Multiple languages available: English, French, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, German, Portugal, Chinese. We have API available for quick implementation of new languages.

·    Your choice to store video files onto multiple hard drives and RAID arrays, your assignment on remaining hard drive space, and selection to over-write recorded video.

·    Supports very high quality, “lip-sync” audio on every video channel, supports two-way audio: remote sites can talk back to the server.  The video quality is close to DVR at D1, and is S-VHS like at CIF.

·    Supports E-map. Camera/relay icons in your floor plan will blink on alarm.

·    Video can be set to auto-pop up when alarm triggers.

·    Log files on system alarms are available for local or remote analysis.

·    Supports remote log-in via Web browser or dedicated IP, allows remote monitoring, instant playback, remote search, remote control of DVR ..  etc. via only three IP ports.

·    Your selection on re-boot schedule.  Since these cards use hardware encode, CPU usage is very low, e.g. 50 channels system uses 12% CPU cycles of a P4 3GHz.   This low CPU usage reduces the need to re-boot windows.

·    Supports PTZ cameras and input/output relays via serial (com) ports.

·    Supports NTSC and/or PAL (both system cameras can co-exist on one PC).

·    Supports CIF (352x240 pixels) and D1 (708x480 pixels) resolutions. You can combine two CIF channels to one D1.

Screen layout

·    Displays 1, 4, 9,13,16,20, 25, 28, 33, 36, 49, 64 video cameras.

·    Two GUIs of your choice.  You can easily customize the screen with your company’s logo.

·    *** Provides instant, 8 minutes playback on any channels while monitoring.

·    *** Control PTZ cameras on screen: make the PTZ camera follow your mouse.

·    *** Allows users to program and store 10 different PTZ routes.

·    *** Full control of color, brightness, contrast, and audio level for each channels..

Camera setup software

·    Camera parameters can be set individually, or in groups.

·    On-screen display available, your choice of font size and position

·    Compression parameters:

·    *** Dual compression: Dual parameter assignments, one for local recording and one for network transmission.

·    H264 with VBR (variable bit rate, lower down bit rate if there are little pixel changes) or CBR (constant bit rate); from 30frames per second (fps) to 1fps, NTSC and/or PAL.

·    Encoding rates can be set from 45MB – 360 MB/hr per camera at 352x240(288) pixels, or 90MB – 840MB/hr per camera at D1 704x480 (288).

·    Choice of on screen camera identifier display location and size.

·    Cameras can be grouped for ease of setting up parameters.

·    All channels can record audio.

·    Pre and post alarm available.

·    Recoding based on scheduled constant recording, on motion detect, relay trigger, or both.

·    Supports Speed dome (PTZ cameras) with presets, scanning and touring function.

Alarm and sensor setup

·    Controls multiple modules of i/o controller, each has 16 input and 16 output relays.

·    On alarm, camera display can automatically show up from minimized position.

Auto Backup and Motion Alarm

·    Backup any camera onto a different hard drive for dual protection

·    link up speed domes such that the camera will zoom to a preset position on alarm

Email Setup

·    Send E-mail to multiple addresses with or without picture attachment.

Password control

·    Admin and user level, having different rights for most feature of the DVR.

Video file search

·      Playback 1, 4, 9, 16 channels at the same time, pending on your hard drive speed.

·      Search by calendar date, hour and minute.  Multiple playback speeds, from 1/16 times to 16 times.  Can enlarge video to full screen, or zoom out video to multiple levels.

·      User can select video clips to save onto a folder or archive into CD or DVD.

·      Can go to any ILDVR servers (IP or DDNS based) to search for the recorded video database, using same function as above.

System log list:

·      Auto record administrators and operators command requests on the server.

·      Allows manual entry on system log for follow up records.

·      System log list can be search by date, by Mode: operation; alarm; prompt; all.
