2.0. ILDVR server uses port 80 for web client, 4500 for transmission, 4500 as listern port and 4600 as connect port. You can change any of the ports as need. ILDVR will also understand DNS names.

3.0. ILDVR has built in batch commands for customizing both Server and Client software GUI. This allows you to customize the GUI, e.g. add your company’s logo onto the application, then, create an install CD with your changes embedded.

Steps to customize Server software are as follows:
  1. After you have installed ILDVR server software, go to Windows Explorer and locate the server application, typically, it is at C:\Program Files\Internet Live H264 DVR Server.
  2. Take an example, if you want to change the main server panel GUI, the file would be in C:\Program Files\Internet Live H264 DVR Server\English\Main\MainDlg.jpg . Use a graphics application, e.g. Photoshop, Windows Paint, etc. to edit the content of this file. Please DO NOT change the length and width parameter of the graphics.
  3. You can edit any graphics file under the folders of English\Main, English\Map, English\Search, English\setup
  4. If you want to save your edited files such that the new GUI is stored in the install CD, first, copy the install CD to a folder call “CD” in your hard drive. Go to the folder CD\CopyFile. Put your edited files (edited files only) under this folder. You would have to re-create the path for this file. For example, you have edited C:\Program Files\Internet Live H264 DVR Server\English\Main\MainDlg.jpg. Under CopyFile, create folders for English\Main and put this MainDlg.jpg file under Main. Only changed files are to be put into the Copyfile folder.
  5. Make a CD out from this for future installations. For Client software changes, please follow the same above steps. Create a CopyFile folder and put your changed files with the necessary paths (folders) inside.
